favorite smoothie recipes

I drink a smoothie EVERYDAY!! I have been for almost 2 years now and I have seen such an improvement in my immune system, digestive system and health! When I was teaching I would drink one everyday on the way to work because I never had time for breakfast! Now that I am home I have it for my snack to get my vitamins in and keep me from mindless snacking and munching on toddler food! I have tried all kinds of combos and flavors and have found some go to’s that I absolutely love and keep going back to! Sharing my top 5 below!

Keep in mind you can always substitute the milk you prefer and leave out nut butter if you have allergies! I use this superfood protein blend in all my smoothies. Its my favorite I have tried and I prefer this because it has a blend not just protein but of veggies and superfoods to help get in my vitamins and beneficial supplements I wouldn’t be able to get everyday in my normal diet. One scoop is equivalent to eating 7 salads!! Thats some serious veggies servings! I drink the vegan version which is made with pea protein and without gluten or whey.


Berry Power Smoothie

8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 scoop vanilla superfoods

1/2 frozen banana

1/4 cup frozen berries (mix of blueberry, raspberry, blackberry)

1 tsp peanut butter

1/2 cup ice

Blend well (45-60seconds) Pour in cup and top with granola.

Cinnamon Frappe Smoothie

6 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk

2 oz cold brew or cold coffee

1 scoop vanilla or cafe latte superfood

1 tsp cinnamon

1 cup ice

Blend well (45-60 seconds). Top with graham cracker crumble or fat free whip cream.


Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

8 oz unsweet vanilla almond milk

1 scoop chocolate superfoods

1/2 frozen banana

2 tsp peanut butter

1/2 cup ice

Blend well (45-60 seconds) Pour in cup and top with granola or mini chocolate & peanut butter chips.

Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl

6 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 scoop vanilla superfoods

1 pack frozen acai

1/4 cup frozen mixed berries

1/2 frozen banana

Blend well (60 seconds) I usually have to stir and blend again. Mix will be thick. Pour into bowl and top with granola, unsweet coconut flakes and melted peanut butter.


Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

4 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk

6 oz cold brew coffee (OR if prefer without coffee 8oz almond milk total)

1 scoop vanilla superfoods

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1/2 cup ice

Blend well (45-60 seconds) Pour in cup and top with favorite pumpkin spice granola!

Additional options & prep: freeze almond milk in ice cube trays to use as ice instead of regular ice for added thickness and creaminess! I also like to cut bananas in half and keep in freezer to always have on hand and ready for smoothies. I buy bags of frozen mixed berries and acai that are easy and ready to go. I also like to add the occasional supplement for extra boosts! I use this for digestion, which has been especially nice during pregnancy and this for added greens!
